With her unregulated access to the flow of money from the government of Sierra Leone and international donors, Mrs. Fatima Jabbie Maada Bio continues to pay lobbyists in the UK and the U.S. to buy her speaking engagements in the UK and the US. March seems to be a busy month for this most corrupt First Lady in Africa, and this time, she has seemingly become favored by universities, including Harvard Law School and Columbia University in the United States and Warwick University in the UK, who are putting Mrs. Bio on the podium to speak on women’s issues.
But knowing Mrs. Bio’s pattern of abuse of other women and her penchant for inciting violence in Sierra Leone, combined with the fact that the European Union and the U.S. Carter Foundation and many other election observers have reported on Mr. Maada Bio’s election fraud that has kept him in power, Sierra Leoneans are wondering how in the world is Mrs. Bio getting these speaking engagements in UK and US?
The answer to this question is either one, or two, or all of the following:
(1) Mrs. Bio is paying vast sums of taxpayers’ money to international lobbyists to market her to these institutions or
(2) Mrs. Bio is making large financial donations to these institutions that are hosting her or
(3) These institutions are racist and, therefore, support corrupt politicians like Mrs. Bio to help her damage the causes of women in Sierra Leone and, by extension, Africa.
The following are a few video evidence of Mrs. Bio’s verbal attacks on Sierra Leoneans, including women, and her incitement of violence in the country. This pattern of unbecoming behavior makes Mrs. Fatima Bio UNFIT to speak on the subject of violence against women on any platform.
In this video, Mrs. Fatima Jabbie Maada Bio, the wife of the President of Sierra Leone, warned the country’s citizens that anyone trying to sabotage her husband’s work would face the wrath of mob justice. Unfortunately, this has led to an increase in incidents of mob violence in Sierra Leone.
In this video, Mrs. Fatima Jabbie Maada Bio, the First Lady of Sierra Leone, verbally assaults a young Sierra Leonean woman who conducted a product test for menstrual pads Mrs. Bio distributed. Mrs. Bio, as the wife of the President, has been in the habit of engaging in such verbal aggression that the people of Sierra Leone perceive as violence against fellow women in the country. Speaking in Krio, Mrs. Bio insults the young woman, among other insults, calling her STUPID and also intimidating her. The video is a candid illustration of the bully that Mrs. Bio has been for other women in Sierra Leone since she became First Lady. This video prompts our collective reflection on the role of the First Lady in promoting violence and disunity among women in the country.
In this video, Mrs. Fatima Jabbie Maada Bio, the wife of the President of Sierra Leone, speaking to predominantly youth supporters of her husband at a campaign rally in the southeast region of Sierra Leone, told her audience that they should never allow opposition parties to exist in their region, and not even allow them to have party offices there. Shortly after her speech, several party offices and private homes of opposition party members were burnt down by southeastern youth supporters of her husband. None was prosecuted.
In this video, Mrs. Fatima Bio’s vulgarity and incitement of violence in Sierra Leone are illustrated. She warns that the private parts of rapists will be chopped off, barbecued, and given to them to eat. However, such tough talk has not helped reduce rape in Sierra Leone, and violence against women continues to be on the rise.
