Since August 8, 2023, Ooman Arata, in her internet jungle justice attacks, has posted personal information, private documents, and photos of Dr. Fatima Babih, her family, and friends on social media, mainly on her Facebook page, where she disseminates to WhatsApp groups.
First Lady Fatima Maada Bio (Mrs. Bio) hired Ooman Arata to attack Dr. Babih on the internet and to also attack her family in Bo City, Sierra Leone, as a way to retaliate against her for writing a book about Mrs. Bio’s corruption as First Lady of Sierra Leone: The UNBECOMING Mrs. Maada Bio of Sierra Leone: A Case of First Lady Syndrome.
This Ooman Arata has made a career out of viciously attacking and blackmailing people in Sierra Leone, including the woman she now serves, Mrs. Fatima Maada Bio. But her victims have always responded to her attacks by silencing her with money or position. For instance, a few years ago, she attacked and threatened to blackmail then-President Ernest Bai Koroma (EBK).
In response to her attacks, EBK appointed her in a special position in his Presidential office to silence her. However, EBK had to remove her from his office quickly because she fought with his staff.
Then EBK appointed her as Minister, but she and her deputy minister got into an ugly fight. Since then, poor EBK did not know where to throw this Ooman Arata. She had no real job before then and since then, and this lack of appointment has not only made her bitter toward EBK and his party, but the idleness has left her with plenty of time to become a full-time attacker for hire in Sierra Leone.
When Mrs. Bio became the First Lady in 2018, she and Ooman Arata were bitter political rivals. Then, in December 2020, Mrs. Bio said something negative about her one-time best friend. Mrs. Bio’s comments toward her led Ooman Arata to not only chastise Mrs. Bio in the referenced article but also threaten to expose some secrets about Mrs. Bio.
With what secret was Ooman Arata blackmailing Mrs. Bio? In the referenced article, she kept saying, “I dare you.” What was she daring her about? Was it a secret from their past lives as best friends in the Gambia, where they both claimed to have worked for Yaha Jammeh? What kind of work did two young, unprofessional women do for Jammeh?

Meanwhile, whatever the secret she held over her, Mrs. Bio did not want Ooman Arata to reveal it. As a result, Mrs. Bio quickly apologized for the negative things she had said about her former friend. To further buy her silence, Mrs. Bio hired Ooman Arata as her errand girl, who doubles as an attack dog. The two women now claim to be best friends; Ooman Arata has been busy since then and has attacked several people who said anything negative about Mrs. Bio.
